About
Hannah Culbreth is a Pennsylvania-based Development Professional and horn player.
Prior to her move back to PA to start as Development Manager with the York Symphony Orchestra, Culbreth played seasons as 2nd horn in The Phoenix Symphony and as 3rd horn in the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
Ms. Culbreth has performed with orchestras across the US, including The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Oregon Symphony, The Phoenix Symphony, and Symphony in C. She has completed assistant orchestra library work for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the Colorado Music Festival.
Hannah graduated from the Curtis Institute of Music with the Provost’s Award for Achievement in Career Studies in 2022, and from the New England Conservatory of Music in 2020. Her most influential mentors include Jennifer Montone, Jeffrey Lang, Mary Javian, and Elaine Li.
An enthusiastic educator, Ms. Culbreth worked as both a private instructor and a teacher with the Talent Development Program at the Atlanta Symphony. She also served as a Teaching Artist with Play On, Philly.
Ms. Culbreth has a passion for connecting to the community through the arts, with particular interest in the longevity, equity, and growth of the Symphony. As the beneficiary of generous philanthropy throughout her orchestral career, she hopes to support the same experiences for others and share the special experience of the Symphony with all members of the community.
