About

Hannah Culbreth is a Philadelphia-based horn player, teacher, and project leader.

Prior to her move back to Philly, Culbreth played seasons as 2nd horn in The Phoenix Symphony and as 3rd horn in the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

Ms. Culbreth has performed with orchestras across the US, including The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Oregon Symphony, The Phoenix Symphony, and Symphony in C.

Hannah graduated from the Curtis Institute of Music with the Provost’s Award for Achievement in Career Studies in 2022, and from the New England Conservatory of Music in 2020. Her most influential mentors include Jennifer Montone and Jeffrey Lang. 

An enthusiastic educator, Ms. Culbreth worked as both a private instructor and an instructor with the Talent Development Program at the Atlanta Symphony. She is currently a Teaching Artist with Play On, Philly!

Culbreth enjoys a wide variety of chamber music, and has performed with Seraph Brass, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra brass quintet, Curtis on Tour, and as part of a chamber ensemble for an artistic residency in Seaside, Florida with E2C (‘20,’21). 

Ms. Culbreth has appeared in festivals across North America, including The Spoleto Festival USA, L’Orchestre de la Francophonie, and The New York String Orchestra.

Ms. Culbreth has a passion for connecting to the community through music, with particular interest in creative aging, immigration facilities, shelters, and schools.
